info
At first glance, Oriphi's most notable features are her lilac and rose-splotched skin, her horns, and a spade-tipped tiefling tail. Her long, dark brown hair is usually worn down and with a section of it braided, and is usually speckled wth small daisies or wildflowers. Despite the features coming from the infernal heritage of a tiefing, Oriphi has not an intimidating bone in her body (unless provoked).
...She's also very short, even when accounting for her horns. But this tiny tiefling can turn into some very large creatures, so don't be fooled! Ori wears leather armor when she's adventuring and is equipped with a staff and all sorts of tools and pouches for herbalism, but when she's simply milling about in the Hollow Hearth, she's usually in much simpler dresses, blouses and skirts.

Oriphi and her younger sister Valphi were seemingly abandoned by their parents at a young age, left in a small village that had little room in it for two orphans. They were taken in by an elderly man named Gerrell Caskridge, life in the village became difficult when magic began to manifest in the girls from a young age, with Val discovering her sorcery and Ori experiencing visions and dreams of what she would later come to know as the Feywild. Without proper knowledge and training, Val's magic was increasingly dangerous and Ori's increasingly mysterious as it drew her to the woods time and time again, often returning with little to no memory of what she had been doing or where she had gone. Eventually, the two sisters left the village, eventually finding their way into a mercenary group called the Fangs of the Fox.THE FANGS OF THE FOX
TIME WITH THE ALCHEMIGHTYValphi excelled as a mercenary - Oriphi, on the other hand, did not, and the longer she was in the Fangs the stronger her desire grew to escape into the woods as she used to as a child and feel closer to the realm in her dreams. Eventually, the sisters parted ways to pursue different paths, with Val quickly rising through the ranks with the Fangs and Ori wandering and searching for Fey Crossings. There, she met a druid who taught her to focus her magic to draw from and strengthen her bond with the Feywild. Oriphi eventually began to travel to different towns in a humble life of healing and using her magic to bring wonder and joy into their lives - at least until a greater adventure would find her and reunite her with her sister.
Together with an old friend, Colin, as well as new friends like Aerie, Sian, Mellon, Cibark, and Dae (who would later dub the group "The Alchemighty," after his parents' own adventuring group), Ori would travel across the continent at the behest of the wizard Philostenes in search of the Stones of Gran Karrefour. In finding said stones, they would be preventing various enthralled or otherwise compromised forces from gathering and resurrecting the ancient, powerful but tyrannical wizard from walking the world once more as a lich. Over the course of this adventure, they uncover various political machinations at play and find themselves further embroiled in plans involving demon lords... All of which they haphazardly handle (usually through violence), but at least they gathered the Stones in the end.

Although they aren't able to find a way to destroy the stones without unwittingly unleashing the vestiged powers of various demon lords in the process, they are ultimately able to cast out Gran Karrefour's soul, replacing it with that of Sian's thanks to their sacrifice. The newly-reformed Alchemighty then sets out to return each of the new stones to their former keepers, or otherwise find new ways to keep them safe - including keeping one in their own headquarters, to eventually be watched over by Philostenes (and eventually Ori).
LIFE AFTER ADVENTURINGOri spends years in the aftermath of this adventure with Colin and rebuilding her relationship with her sister. During this time, she, Colin, and Valphi return to their "hometown" when they hear of children repeatedly disappearing into the nearby woods - in the same way Oriphi would when she was a child. There, they find an unusually active and turbulent Fey Crossing and enlist the help of the Alchemighty to investigate.

Together, the team learns that a coven of hags are behind the disappearances and further uncover a bitter truth: this is the very same coven that had taken Ori and Val's parents when the two were too young to even remember. Their tiefling father and elven mother had given up their own freedom to prevent the hags from taking their daughters, and they were spirited away into captivity in the Feywild where they would spend their lives forever sundered from their precious girls. One of these hags later found Oriphi to sow the seeds of a forsaken family reunion, teaching her how to draw druidic magic from the Feywild, hoping that one day the young woman would discern the truth and give them a tragedy to revel in. It works.
Together with her friends and her sister, Ori defeats the coven. However, they are far too late to save their parents, who have long since lost all their memories of their children.
Still, in the wake of tragedy, there is light: the Alchemighty rescue and adopt a young, feytouched girl who had been taken by the hags, whose parents were similarly lost. In losing her parents, Oriphi becomes one.

Crushed by the truth, Ori considers abandoning her druidic magic altogether, but her loved ones convince her to forge on, to use her powers for good and to heal the lives of others even despite the bitterness and anguish surrounding its source. It's then that Ori decides to formally join the Alchemighty once more, to serve as the group's healer again, to help those in need, and most importantly to help raise Juniper.
Over the years, Ori begins to settle into a more supportive role in the quickly expanding free company. Eventually, she takes up a more permanent residence in the Hollow Wilds to keep watch over the woods that house the group's headquarters and to keep watch over her old adventuring friends and their new recruits alike.
