Blessedly, many of her friends have similarly long lifespans (why are so many of them elves) - but the conundrum of differing longevities remains a point of contention here and there. And though she would hesitate to admit it, she's certainly... Kept herself from pursuing certain things on account of what her magic has done to her biologically. Perhaps she should have had the opposite reaction, to go out and do much more with her life with what's been afforded to her. But instead she hung up her cloak and stayed, and started taking root. She doesn't regret her decision, but sometimes... She yearns for things that she believes she cannot have.

She wonders if Arthur's mother ever felt this way. ]

Hmm... Your mother is a wise woman, Arthur.

It took... Some time for me to realize what was happening to me. I think on most days, it still doesn't feel right. Maybe it's part of why I gave up on adventuring, but...
