[ Though they are separated, the moon and stars in an endless night without their sun - their night sky will continue to be ever brilliant and dazzling and wonderful, streaked with the wondrous colors of the aurora that moments like this bring.

Ori is sure, more than ever, that they’ll be alright.

When Diluc sets her back onto her feet by the bed, she slips beneath the covers. And as she looks up at him, tail swishing back and forth under the fabric, she finds herself purring at the mere sight of him, warm and flushed and sated, but most of all happy. She opens her arms towards him with a smile. ]

I don’t care how we stay as long we stay together.

[ She, of course, is referring to much more than the question of whether they should remain with their feline features or not. ]

Now, come here…

[Diluc is utterly powerless to resist the invitation of her arms and words, and he crawls in next to her. Pressed on by lingering feline instincts and an overwhelming sense of affection toward Ori - who will stay by his side no matter what, she's just confirmed - he curls his tail loosely around her and settles in, nuzzling her neck lightly.

Her purring draws a soft purr out of him, and the harmony of vibrations is soothing to the point that he's certain he won't stay awake long like this. To fall asleep beside his beloved stars like this is a gift that he's not likely to take for granted for some time.]

[ She relishes in the tenderness of the moment; his soft tail curling around her, scarlet hair of his splayed messily over their bed, their legs entangled, and the sound of their purring together as he nuzzles and settles in. Her arms and tail wrap around him in turn, and she draws in a deep breath, filling her senses with his scent as she presses an impossibly gentle and fond kiss to the top of his head. ]

I love you too, Diluc. Sweet dreams...

[ Soon, she'll drift off into slumber, herself, one less fitful and anxious than the nights that have passed since Thoma disappeared. And when she awakens, she hopes - no, she knows that Diluc will still be there with her. ]
